I’ve had quite a few things going on recently, but wanted to do a quick check-in on Louisville and provide some analysis as to what’s going well lately. It took until the 27th game of a 4-23 season, but there’s actually a stretch of games that offers hope to the fanbase.
Louisville is extremely unlikely to finish the season as the lowest-rated major conference team of all time in KenPom, as they are at 278th and would need to hit 302nd with likely just 5 total games left. They’d probably need a series of 25 point blowouts to drop that far in so little time.
Per at least one site (Haslametrics.com), Louisville is not the worst Power 6 conference team this season, as California has dropped below the Cards
